Welcome to the Golden Ears Chapter of the Vintage Car Club of Canada. We are a group of about 80 members and spouses who are interested in the acquisition, restoration, preservation, salvage and maintenance of vintage and collector automobiles. We meet at St. Andrews Heritage Church on 116 Ave in Maple Ridge, BC every 1st Tuesday of the month, September through June. We look forward to you stopping by and saying hello, you don't need to own a vehicle to be a member. The meetings start at 7:30 pm.
Did you know? That there were only 6 1940 Chrysler Newport Dual-Cowl Phaetons manufactured.
There were only six because the car was produced as a publicity stunt. Another fact about the Newport Phaeton is that it was used as the pace car for the 1941 Indianapolis 500 race.
Our Chapter hosts many events during the year, including a Vintage and Collector car swap meet in April; show and shines; parades and social events (see our Calendar for dates). We have some very experienced car people who can always steer you in the right direction if you are looking for some help or technical information.
